Where are you right now on your "Who Do You Think You Are" project? What did you do over the break for the project? Did you interview anyone? Use the checklist below to figure out what you have finished, what you are still working on and what you still have to do.

I have made all the interview questions but I haven't interviewed anyone yet. I am planning on doing this sometime this week. I finished and sent the persuasive letter/email to my mom. I also created Family Echo Family Tree and i have finished the Prezi Family Tree. Currently I am working on my infographic and I haven't started my five-frame storyboard yet.

Tyler Geiman - The Runaway Shoes. Its the best because it was very creative and it seemed like it took a lot of time
Cookie Cooks - Real Head. It was very entertaining to watch and a lot of time seemed to have put in.

How did you stop motion animation turn out? If you could give it a grade, what would you give it out of 60 points? What did you learn from creating this video?
I personally think mined turned out great. I deserve 60 out 60 points. It meets all the requirements on the rubric. I learned how to transport pictures from my phone to my computer and how to use movie maker.

 How far along are you on your stop motion animation? What did you do over the weekend to work on you stop motion animation? Do you have all your pictures today? Will you have all your pictures by the end of the hour? Give me a detailed updated.
I finished taking all my pictures. The only thing I need to do now is transfer my pictures over to the computer and set them up. I brought my cord to connect to the computer so I will have all my pictures on the computer by the end of the hour.  My project is of a peppermint moving all over my desk.

What are you planning on doing for your stop-motion animation video? What story are you going to tell? How will your video be fun and different? Who is taking your photos? When are you taking your photos?
I am planning on taking an orange and peeling it. It will be different and fun because the orange is going to be peeled in a strange and artistic way. I will be taking the photos and I will be taking the photos sometime in the next few days.

What photo editing tool(s) have you used so far on your 5 photos project? Do you like the tool? Is it easy to use? Hard to use? What's good about it? Whats bad about it? Give a detailed review of the tool.

I have not really used that many tools yet since I have only fully edited one photo. But on the one photo I used the blur tool which blurred out certain objects so other ones could stand out more. I also rotated the picture so that it is not on its side anymore. Its easy to use and I plan on using several tools in my four other pictures.

What is your favorite web tool that we have used in class so far this year? Why is it your favorite web tool? What do you like about it? How can you use it again in the future?

My favorite web tool is Prezi. I like this tool because the look of it is very futuristic and the transitions between slides are very cool.

What are the pros and cons to photo editing? What are some examples of when photo editing is fun and appropriate? When can photo editing be inappropriate or too much?
Photo editing has some beneficial edits. If you need to crop out a part of a picture to put on your presentation than it is very helpful. Or for social media websites, if you want to give your self a little better of look than photo editing is very useful. Sometimes when photo editing is inappropriate is if you crop things that should not be cropped. An example of this is if you crop your face or someones face on something and post it to a social media website. This is an example of bullying.

What is your favorite web tool that we have used in class so far this year? Why is it your favorite web tool? What do you like about it? How can you use it again in the future?

My favorite web tool is Prezi. I like this tool because the look of it is very futuristic and the transitions between slides are very cool. Also it is very easy to add information and pictures to it. I can use it again in the future to give presentations to my clientele.

My weekend was great. Friday  I hung out at my house for a little bit than I went to my friends house. She had a party Friday night. It was a really fun party. On Saturday the girl had another party again on Saturday. It was really fun party as well. I worked both Saturday and Sunday.

What makes a presentation memorable? What makes a presentation stand out and not boring? How are you going to make your presentation better than anyone else? How will you make it unique? Explain.
If the speaker is enthusiastic than almost any type of presentation will be memorable. This will also make the presentation stand out. You want the presentation be easy to understand and not have so many words on the presentation. If there are too many words than you are bound to loose the attention of the listeners. I am adding a lot of pictures in my presentation.

What did you learn from the Ted Talk yesterday? Did you find it interesting or accurate? Explain.
I learned that it is not always good to stay connected because if you are always connected you will not be able to learn valuable life skills. If you are always connected you wont know how to have a real conversation in life. It is kind of true how the reason we love social media is because we have the choice to edit who we are and what we say. Also its true how we sent text to feel an emotion not that we feel an emotion so we send a text.

What do you love about the "digital age" that we currently live in? What do you dislike about it? What are positives ways you use technology in your life? What are some things that come along with technology that you don't like? Explain.
It is kind of unique to keep older technology and compare it to newer technology. It is kind of crazy to think how in  matter of 5 years a piece of technology can be so out of date and seem so "slow". The positive ways i use technology in my life is with music and e entertainment. The things i do not like about it is that now  day people are constantly hooked to their phones and never have time to talk or give you full attention.

Tell me about your Homecoming weekend (whether you went to the activities or not!). Tell me about what you did over the weekend.
I did not go to the Homecoming game because I was too tired but I did go to Homecoming. We took pictures for only about 15 minutes than we went to Cinzettes. Our group only consisted of about 16 people total. After dinner we skipped the dance and went to the after party. It was a really fun after party. The next day I had to wake up and go to work at 10 which really sucked. 

What do you know about infographics? What do you know about them? What are their purpose?
Based on the context of the word I think it means they are pictures that supply information to the user. Other than that I do not know anything else about them. This is my first time every hearing this word so I just took a guess here.

Tonight, I plan to go to the Blue Valley football game and go to a friend's house after. On Saturday I work a double shift at California Pizza Kitchen, and when I get off I am going to go to my friend's birthday party. On Sunday I am going to get a new shirt, khakis, and Sperrys for homecoming. I think that this weekend will be a good one.

 Most students view siting work as 'a pain in the butt'. How do you feel about it? Is it necessary? When is it appropriate to cite work? What's the importance of it?

I know it is necessary because it is how you sail away from plagiarism. I do not like doing it because I have to go through a lot of work.  I have to dig through each website to find the information required to cite a source. It is appropriate to cite your work every time you use information that is not yours. It is important because if you do not cite your sources than that is plagiarism.
